Below are directions on how to use the Email Marketing System.   

  • We have found that this system works best if you are using your computer's recommended display resolution and your recommended scaling.  


Accessing Email Marketing Module

  1. Login to the member side of the website.

  2. Switch to Club Central
    1. How do I switch to Club Central?
  3. Click the Email Marketing button

Setting Default Email Address

This setting is put into effect when you are creating a new email campaign.  It will pull this email address as the default.  Set this to the email address you will most often be sending emails on behalf of.

  1. Click Manage Templates on the Left Navbar
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click the dropdown next to Default Sender Address and select the "From Email" address you want to use
    • DO NOT ADD EMAIL ADDRESSES

      • if you do not see the email address to use or would like to add one please contact web@keowee-key.com



Drafting an Email Campaign

The module refers to emails as campaigns.  Encore provides a video on how to make a daft if you would like to watch it.




  1. Click Email Campaigns on the left nav bar
  2. Click New Email Campaign button
    1. If you have not selected a default Email Editor you will be prompted to pick one
    2. Click Select under Smart Email Builder
    3. Click OK to set as your default Email Editor
  3. Select your Email Template
    1. You can request a new Template by contacting the web@kkpoa.com
    2. If you do not see the Choose Template button there are a few things to check:
  4. Click Choose Template
  5. Provide a name for the campaign
    1. Click in the textbox next to Email campaign name:
    2. Type in a Title or name for the campaign
    3. Click the Green Check Mark to the right of the textbox
  6. Click on the Section of your Template that you want to update
  7. Fillin your content you wish to email
  8. Click Update Content
  9. When done updating all content click Next> in the Top Right
  10. Confirm your content and click Next
  11. Fill in the textbox next to Subject:
  12. Confirm your From Name:
    1. This is the name that will display when the member gets the email
      • Try Appending Your Group Name after "Keowee Key"
  13. Confirm the From Email
    • If you do not see the email address you are looking for in the list please contact web@kkpoa.com
    • The email will be marked as spam if you use an address that does not come from the keowee-key.com address. 
  14. Click Send quick test
    1. This will send you an email to the email address tied to your account to allow you to view it before you move forward.
  15. Click Save Draft
  16. This will automatically open the Email Campaign for Sending

Sending an Email Campaign

You can send any email campaign draft that is setup in the system. 

  1. Select the Campaign you wish to send
  2. Click the Select Recipients Button
  3. Click the box to the left of who should get the email
  4. Click Select
  5. Click Schedule & Send button
  6. Confirm when you would like to start sending the email by using the Drop Down
    1. If you are setting the mail to go out later
      1.  Pick the date by clicking the calendar icon
    2. Pick the time by clicking the Clock icon
  7.    Click the Schedule & Send
